Julie Bond – Director
Julie is an Edwardsville native who spent a lot of time growing up on the campus of SIUE enjoying the visual and performing arts of the Mississippi River Festival (MRF). After receiving her BFA in Art Studio from Eastern Illinois University, she worked for the Greenberg Gallery in St. Louis. There she had the good fortune of working with Ellsworth Kelly, Peter Beard and dealing with nationally and internationally known artists and clients. Edwardsville to promote local artists. At this time, she became an active board member of SIUE Friends of Art, Edwardsville Library Friends and the City Park Gardeners. Julie was one of the founding board members of the Edwardsville Arts Center and has been an active supporter of the arts in the Edwardsville - Glen Carbon area. She has been an administrative legal assistant for the Intellectual Property Department at Simmons Law Firm in East Alton, IL since its inception in 2006. She has two adult children, Lauren and Jacob.
