Manga-A-Comic
Six-Week Class for Grades 6-8Participants will learn how to create comic books or Manga illustrations. They will receive
training in concepts of design, perspective, line drawings, values, etc., in order to
help them draw their ideas and make them a reality. They will also be encouraged to
analyze their favorite TV shows, books, or movies to figure out why they are interested
in these characters or story lines and how it can be used in their personal works. This
class will require outside time to finish projects, since comics can be very time consuming.
