Artist's Statement

I am a native of St. Louis but since the mid 90’s; I’ve called Edwardsville home. I spend much of my time managing a local restaurant, Neruda and renovating my 1905 Sears and Roebuck home. I hold a Bachelor of Art degree in art studio from Southern Illinois University of Edwardsville. During my studies at the university, I had the opportunity to study with many accomplished and talented artists. This gave me the opportunity to teach, refine and explore my own creative interest. This show is the first opportunity in over a decade that I’ve displayed a wide range of my work. Each piece reflects a specific inspirational moment.

This show is dedicated to my mother, Theresa Marie Hoff.
